The design that changed self-rifling slugs is back by popular demand. The AQ-Slug is made in America by BPI and it is, once again, elevating the performance of self-rifling slugs.
Lead, Non-Toxic or Frangible, it's your choice: The AQ is available in a 422-grain lead ball, a 275-grain GPM non-toxic version, and a 238-grain CTX frangible version. Each version of the AQ is hard-hitting, highly accurate, and distributes energy quickly and efficiently.
Self-Rifling Technology: The AQ is proven to self-rifle on high-speed video. This ability to self-stabilize provides for heightened accuracy and enhanced reliability at long ranges. (Self-rifling performance is maximized in smooth-bore barrels and some rifled barrels may disrupt the intended effect.)
Made in USA by BPI: The AQ Slug was brought back after two years of diligent redesign. The projectile balls have been completely redesigned to form-fit our ballistic rifling tail (BRT).
Efficient gas sealing properties: Our ballistic lab utilizes the X12Xand FS12 gas seals for almost all our AQ Slug loads. The lab is recommending clear/unskived Fiocchihulls with a roll crimp. Many loads are now available with more coming soon.
